Highlight of the evening will be a potluck dinner at 5 p.m. (Just bring your favorite dish to share.) Minimum buy-in for bingo, which starts at 6 p.m., is only $7.

Thursday, Nov. 23 at Ponderosa Community Center. As in past years, the main portion of the meal (including turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy) and place settings are supplied by YFCS. Anyone wishing to attend need only bring a side dish or dessert to share.
"This is for the whole community," said event coordinator Jean Benner. "Everyone from a single person to whole families is invited to attend. It’s a great way for people to spend the day enjoying good food and friends without having to spend the whole time in the kitchen."
The 2000 Christmas in the Foothills tour, featuring businesses and organizations throughout the Yuba Father Communities Services area, will be held on Saturday and Sunday, December 9 and 10. It will include crafts fairs, postal cachets, fresh cut trees, cut-it-yourself trees, food, gift shops, specialty stores and more in a variety of locations.
