Forbestown Daze was an enjoyable day for all who came for the fun, food and competitions. Winners of the parade, according to category, were:

Walking: 1) Sierra Outlaws; 2) Muzzleloaders; 3) Veterans.

Floats: 1) Strawberry Valley Garden Club; 2) Fun Farm; 3) One-Button Bill.

Animals: 1) Rough & Ready 4H Pack Goats; 2)Bosko, Museum Mascot; 3) Gabriel, ridden by Autumn Plount, and Teddy Bear, ridden by Tamara Morris.

The Ugly Truck winner was Billy Carrell with his ‘59 Chevrolet, Lucy.

In appreciation we recognize the fire companies who are faithfully in line each year, the vehicles at parade best. Smokey is a joy to see on the stroll. The community veterans, serving as Grand Marshall, made a great showing and we appreciate their interest and attendance.

We send our thanks to all merchants and donors of cash donations or raffle prizes.

Our committee takes notice of all who came forward to be of assistance in any capacity. We could not have done the job without "YOU."
